On behalf of Suffolk County Asian American Advisory Board, and the Asian American communities, I am pleased to welcome you to participate in the 16th Annual Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month Celebration, themed ‘One World, Many Cultures’, to take place on Sunday, May 18, 2025, from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM for the award ceremony and cultural performances, at SYJCC located at 74 Hauppauge Road, Commack, NY 11725.

Our organization brings together individuals from all Asian countries bordering the Pacific Ocean.  Our purpose is to nurture understanding of the diversity and richness of the traditional cultures and values of the peoples of this region. During the last thirty years, there has been a dramatic rise in the number of Asian Americans who have established themselves in Suffolk County, enriching the cultural diversity of this area of Long Island. Our celebration is our opportunity to share our rich cultural heritage with all Long Islanders.

Our previous celebrations drew over 2,000 attendees. We are anticipating an even more successful event this year. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet with a large number of our community members who will appreciate your presence and goodwill. We welcome you to join our mission of supporting our diverse community and aiding its growth.
